Precision Cutting and Color Theory
Most stylists can follow a color formula. This program teaches you how to create one. We start with undertones, overtones, and how existing pigment affects your results. You'll learn why level 7 hair doesn't lift the same way as level 4, and what to do about it.
The cutting portion focuses on geometry and balance. How to create weight lines, remove bulk without losing length, and build shapes that grow out well. We work through graduation angles, layering patterns, and the math behind fringe cutting.
Technical Deep Work
You'll spend significant time on strand tests, timing protocols, and troubleshooting common problems like banding or uneven lift. The cutting section includes detailed work on clipper-over-comb techniques, razor work for texture, and how to fix previous bad cuts.
